Social Media Contest Rules:

To help kickoff our launch, we designed a little competition that will help us spread our reach and reward the winners with something from our affiliate stores.

The contest goes like this, we are looking for who can refer the most people to our site through three social networking sites; Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. There will be a winner from each social site, plus a grand winner who has the most across all three mediums.

As you share the site with your contact lists, provide your display name and url to your referring contact. This information must be included when the person joins our page. It is crucial for the referred person to send us the information of who sent them to us, so the individual can get credit. We also advise that the person who is participating in the contest keep track of who they referred and who actually signs up. This can be sent to us when the contest ends for double-checking.

There will be weekly updates showing who is currently in the lead in each segment.

Prizes:

• • Each winner from the three social mediums will be able to choose a T-shirt or a book priced under $20.00 from our store.
• • The grand winner will receive both a T-shirt and book, each priced under $20.00.

Rules:

• • There will be four different overall winners for this contest.
• • All social accounts involved have to be at least 1 month old.
• • You will not be allowed to refer accounts that you created.
• • To verify yourself under several social mediums, you will be asked to show proof that it’s the same person either by using same display name or avatar.
• • Person who is referring a friend needs to provide display name and url of their account to the new person being referred.
• • It is the responsibility of contest participant to ensure the referred person provides their information to JustLive.us.

JustLive.us was started by the creators of JustGetThere. After witnessing and being involved in numerous failed attempts at political activism and change in government, we came to the conclusion that there is no solution within the state system that will bring about true freedom.

Thus, we believe that the only viable way to bring about this goal, is to undermine the state system by operating outside of its purview and control. We believe that this should be done peacefully, without violence or coercion, and without political action (e.g., voting, lobbying, etc.).

While these are our beliefs, JustLive.us is designed to provide information and resources to any and all who seek to go off-grid, or to reduce their dependency on others for survival. We welcome fellow travelers and hope that the information we supply will be found useful to a broad audience — whatever their own beliefs may be.

Government control gives rise to fraud, suppression of Truth, intensification of the black market and artificial scarcity. Above all, it unmans the people and deprives them of initiative, it undoes the teaching of self-help…I look upon an increase in the power of the State with the greatest fear because, although while apparently doing good by minimizing exploitation, it does the greatest harm to mankind by destroying individuality which lies at the heart of all progress…

Civil disobedience becomes a sacred duty when the state has become lawless or corrupt. And a citizen who barters with such a state shares in its corruption and lawlessness…Every citizen is responsible for every act of his government…There is only one sovereign remedy, namely, non-violent non-cooperation. Whether we advertise the fact or not, the moment we cease to support the government it dies a natural death….

I agree with this statement in some aspects, but our approach at JustLive is a little more proactive, and focuses on self-sufficient solutions outside of the system, instead of trying to change the system through political action.

It’s the system itself that is evil. Therefore, replacing the individuals within the system, never results in a change of the system.  More times than not, the individual is warped, and compromises their integrity, in order to work within it.

Grassroot activists work well against the system with small numbers, but once the group grows, they succumb to infighting, cointelpro tactics or are co-opted by the very system that they are trying to defeat. A perfect example of this, is the recent Tea Party grassroots movement. Once their idea hit a certain level of popularity, it was usurped by the talking heads of CNBC, Fox News, and finally the GOP, with Sarah Palin as the frontwoman.

This new version of the Tea Party, was a 180 degrees different philosophically from the founding ideals. This is the result of fighting against a system that owns the media, uses slick propaganda, and can print money out of thin air. A better approach would be for large group of individuals to drop out the system completely, and focus on creating a non-centralized system that would truly benefit the individual.

Can you imagine if the time, money, and energy that we expend fighting this system, was applied to want we wanted instead? During the 2008 Ron Paul presidential campaign run, his supporters banned together and during a money bomb, raised $4.3 million in one day. With him not being elected, the money had no lasting beneficial outcome. If we could raise money like that for political reasons, that in most cases results in no change whatsoever, why can’t we do that to help forge a system that is off-the-grid and promotes individual self-sufficiency.

This idea is revolutionary, and is a paradigm shift that we should be pursuing, instead of constantly throwing our money, time and energy at a old corrupt system, which only legitimizes it and results in apathy.

The solution lies within you, and therefore can be tailor made to fit your unique circumstances. This is the goal of this new site, to gather information that you can use, that will help you get off-the-grid, physically, mentally and spiritually. We are moving forward with a new focus on ourselves, instead of matters out of our control. Awareness is essential, but the question is always asked, “what do I do?” Hopefully over the course of our journey here at JustLive, we can provide enlightening information that will help you find the solution that works for you.

Instead of focusing on the fear based system that is currently ruling this world. I would rather focus on the infinite greatness that we can achieve if we follow our intuition, and use our intention, to manifest a new reality outside the bounds of our current perception.
